Simple, transparent steps to get started
Free Consultation
We start with a free 15-minute phone call to talk about what's going on and see if we're a good fit.
No pressure, no commitment. Just a chance to ask questions and get a feel for how I work.
What we'll cover
- Your current challenges
- What you're hoping to get from therapy
- Logistics (insurance, scheduling, etc.)
First Sessions
If we decide to move forward, we'll typically meet on a weekly cadence. This gives us a chance to build momentum, establish trust, and start working through what brought you here.
Ongoing Work
As you start feeling more grounded, we can taper to bi-weekly or monthly sessions, whatever fits your needs and goals.
Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Some people need short-term support for a specific issue. Others benefit from longer-term work to address deeper patterns.
You're always in control
We'll regularly check in about whether therapy is still working for you and adjust as needed.
I take Aetna insurance. For other providers, I'm currently out-of-network, but I can provide a superbill for you to submit for reimbursement. I’ve also partnered with Mentaya to help you save time and money on out-of-network therapy. Mentaya handles the paperwork and insurance follow-up, helping you get reimbursed for sessions. We'll discuss cost and options during your free consultation.
That's totally normal. A lot of people come to therapy with a vague sense that something feels off. We'll figure it out together.
It varies. Most of my clients work with me on an ongoing basis, using therapy as a space to grow, process, and stay grounded through life’s transitions. Others come in with a specific goal and feel good after a few months. There’s no “right” timeline. We’ll revisit your goals along the way to make sure therapy still feels useful and worth your time.
Yes! Research shows that virtual therapy is just as effective for most issues. Many people actually prefer it for convenience and comfort.
